Blog entry #4

The first essay I listened to was the finding freedom in forgiveness. It was about how Jennifer Thompson picked Ronald cotton out of a line up saying he was the man that raped her. He went to trial and was sentenced. She was wrong however. Ronald was innocent and spent 11 years in prison for a crime he didn't do. He says he went to prison and angry man but over time learned to forgive. Another one was Seeing beyond our differences. Sheri White says instead of looking at our differences and judging each other because of them. We should embrace them and love each other for them. She says you can learn so much from our differences and that we should be open to learning about each others differences and opinions.  The last one I listened to was How to survive life's tests. Kendra writes saying that toughness and meanness gets your through life. Being that way even prevented her from being raped and she fought off her attacker. She learned to be that way from her father because that's how her father acted when she was younger.
